Kiran Morjaria is a Manchester-based travel creator and the voice behind Kiran Goes Places, trekking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, the Torres del Paine W Trek in Chilean Patagonia, Acatenango volcano in Guatemala and the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu in Peru. Kiran is a Manchester travel vlogger who trades the familiar for the unfamiliar: trekking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, standing beneath the Torres del Paine in Chilean Patagonia, watching sunrise from Guatemala's Acatenango volcano and hiking through Peru's glacial valleys to Machu Picchu. The goal is always the same, take people somewhere they haven't been and make them feel like they're actually there.
He's also a UK broadcaster and stand up comedian, which means the storytelling instinct runs deep: pacing, timing, and knowing what actually makes an audience keep watching. That mix of on the ground adventure and broadcast level polish is what makes the content travel further, on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok alike.
The medical background feeds directly into the travel content too. Wherever a trip involves altitude, exertion or genuine physical risk, the practical advice comes from someone who understands what's actually happening in the body at 4,600 metres, not just what it feels like.
